This construction ensures maximum strength, reliability and wear resistance, even in extreme conditions. At the same time, this process allowed us to further reduce the housing’s weight without compromising performance, keeping it operational down to -150 meters.

Redesigned ergonomic handle: after numerous prototypes, we designed a grip that optimally replicates the natural hold of the camera. The result is an extremely ergonomic handle, with all commands easily accessible: 2 front trigger buttons and 9 on the back, including the switch button, which doubles the available functions.

Controls: managed by 11 wet-contact magnetic buttons, a technology developed and perfected by Easydive with over 20 years of experience.
Free of o-rings, these buttons are completely immune to leakage risks and are designed to work perfectly even at great depths. In case of wear or oxidation, they can be easily replaced. The 11 buttons allow quick access to all main shooting and camera management functions.

User interface: simple and intuitive. By connecting the camera via the supplied cables of the centering base, you can configure all functions following the manual or video tutorial.

Operating autonomy: the internal battery ensures about 14 hours of use. With some camera models, particularly Sony, the housing battery can power the camera directly, extending its autonomy from about 1 hour to 4–5 hours. This avoids the inconvenience of having to open the housing between dives to recharge the camera.

On/off control in water: the electronic unit allows easy power management during the dive. When the housing is turned off, the camera automatically goes into standby mode; to reactivate it, simply turn on the housing and press the shutter. For Sony cameras, power on/off is managed directly via the housing’s button.

Functions: standard functions are listed in the dedicated files for each camera, available in the “User Manuals” section. Other custom functions can be implemented upon request.

Remote reprogrammable electronics: if you want to use the housing with a new camera body, there’s no need to send it to Easydive: we handle everything remotely! Simply purchase the “Leo3 Wi Camera Firmware and Centering Base” and the “Programmer USB update adapter” accessories. Insert the new centering base specific to your camera, connect the USB key to the Leo3 Wi and power on the electronics: the update will run automatically. This way you can continue to use both cameras.

Simplicity: the only housing that lets you change shutter speed and aperture without taking your eye off the viewfinder.

Leak alarm: both audible and visual, with 4 flashing LEDs.

Depth: the only housing operational to -150 m, thanks to the double o-ring seal and wet-contact magnetic buttons that are unaffected by hydrostatic pressure. Deeper ratings available on request.

Universal: the only housing able to manage more than 100 different camera bodies of various brands and models, thanks to electronic recognition.
